PTC Sites Guide

Monday, November 30, 2009

I'm sure many users have seen the infamous "get paid to click" ads or something similar to that. Let me start by saying that some are scams while are others are not. For example, PTCSense is a scam, NeoBux is not. There are a few sites I use to make a little bit of extra money. My primary PTC site is palmbux, if you want to sign up, just use this link, https://www.palmbux.com/register.php/hamid14.html. It is better to sign up for 5 or 6 PTC sites that are instant payout and have low minimum payout, something like $2 or $1. Once you've signed up, simply click 'view ads' at the top and scroll down. You will se a few ad names and links to those ads. Click on the ad link and view it for 30 seconds, there is a timer at the top. Once the timer has finished, wait for the site to say 'credited some amount of money to your account', or something close to that. Just repeat that for each ad, and you'll make some money! At first, you won't be able to make a ton of money, but have patience. If you do have and patience and save up some money, then you can make more money off of these sites. Once you have done a pay out and have confidence that the site works, save up your money until you have at least $5.00. With $5, you can buy 3 to 5 referrals. Each referral clicks ads, and you make a certain amount of money. That's basically it, it's all about saving up money and paying out when you have lots of money in the account. Some other great PTC sites are Bux.gs, upbux, b-u-x.net, buxp.org and pplinx.com. Here are some quick links to the registration pages for each site, http://www.bux.gs/signup.php?r=hamid14, http://www.upbux.com/r?r=hamid14, http://B-U-X.net/?r=hamid14, http://buxp.info/?r=hamid14 -- Thanks for reading!

10 Effective Ways to Promote Your Blog!

Wednesday, November 4, 2009

This works with both, blogs and sites. NOTE: If you have a PSP with CFW 5.00m33-6, I highly recommend checking out the Gran Turismo PSP Game download on my blog! Go to the far right ----> and click Gran Turismo download post. It is split into parts, but it is well worth the wait. For a review, read the review post above or below it, I am not sure if it is on top or the bottom. Anyways, on to the 10 ways to promote a blog/site!

1) Signup on forums and introduce your site/blog ++ It can be any forum a good one is bloggeries.com forums!

2) Use BlogUpp! service ++ 100% Free, short sign up, works great

3) Put a link to your blog/site in your post signature, in a forum

4) Do giveaways for prizes ++ Give away stuffed animals or something like that, once every month or so through a contest

5) Make a video and post on You Tube

6) Post a sad story about something ++ Story should be true, no lies! This also gets more comments on a blog!

7) Go to other people's blogs and post a link to your blog/site in the comments

8) Use strike throughs if you make a mistake in a post title or body text, instead of deleting the text ++ For example, if you put hello, world!, instead of deleting "world!", put a strike through it

9) Make a Face Book and MySpace account ++ Make an account on both for your site/blog, this is where you would post prize contests and stuff

10) Make more sites/blogs that link back to your main blog/site ++ Works better with blogs, but you can make a free site, like Tripod or Geocities

NOTE 2: I also recommend using Google Analytics to track bounce rate, page views, average time spent on site, etc. It is very useful and you can check what got viewer's attention and what didn't. You can use Adsense to make money, but don't over do it. Post maybe 2-3 small ads, but nothing big like 720x500 size. Good luck and thanks for reading. P.S : Don't forget to check out Gran Turismo download if you have a cfw PSP.

Gran Turismo Download & Review

There are 2 new posts, this one and the one below it. The post below this one, has all of the links for the download for Gran Turismo. The game ISO has been "fixed" to work on 5.00 m33-6! It will not work on anything lower than that custom firmware. Also, it is EUR, so set a fake region in the recovery menu to EUR. "EUR" is not USA, it is European. Anyways, now for the review.

Graphics
Five out of five graphics. Absolutely perfect, amazing for the PSP's screen. Astounding, bright, colorful graphics that pop out of the screen and make the game look very close to realistic. Very tiny jagged edges on some things, but those are very unnoticable. All in all, graphics are excellent, better than any other games on the PSP.

Gameplay
Five out of five again. Obvious reasons. The turning feels very smooth, very realistic. When you're turning the car, it actually feels like you are turning the wheel and not the whole car. The AI is not dumb at all. Instead of just trying to get ahead of you in the race, the AI cars are actually bumping each other from the side and using some cool techniques to make the player lose. Though, it is still easy to win the races.

Story Line
Racing games do not have story lines. Some do, like Need for Speed Underground 2 and Revolution Racing. Just pure, racing fun.

Sound & Music
Music is alright, nothing special here. The sounds are great though. Very realistic sound effects, that actually sound like they were taken from real cars and imported for the game. Grab a pair of headphones and the sound effects are incredible. When wearing headphones, the stages seem to come alive.

Overall Rating
This game is awesome. There is no reason why you shouldn't get it for your PSP GO or PSP 3000. A bit pricey, but it is definitely worth it. The replay value is huge here, since there are over 500 cars to choose from. There is also Ad-Hoc multiplayer with up to 4 players, which also adds to replay value. Great game, 9.5/10 marks for this gem!

Check the post below for the download link to this game.

Gran Turismo (EUR) Fixed for 5.00 m33

Tested and working on 5.00 m33-6 Slim PSP. The new Gran Turismo game, meant for higher official firmwares, is now on the old custom firmwares! Please delete this game after 24 hours of playing it. This file is merely a backup for your original copies of the game. I do not own the original file or any of its links. There are 4 different parts, each at 240 MB, sorry, no MegaUpload.

Considering a Career in Programming?

Tuesday, November 3, 2009

I am sure there are many people out there who enjoy spending time on the computer and exploring various aspects that are related to what goes on, in the inside of a computer. There are all kinds of different skills related to computers you can get through diploma, degrees, etc. The most popular ones are computer engineering and programming. Both programming and computer engineering in college are very hands on. They explore the concepts head on and test what is learned, by making applications, opening up computers, etc. However, programmers have a somewhat awkward reputation and, although it doesn't concern me a lot, it is weird.

My Short Survey
I took a short survey at a public high school and had quite a few votes. The survey question is, "Would you consider programming as a 1st choice career, 2nd choice career, etc, and why. Majority of the students said they would not consider programming as any one of their career choices and their reasons were that is boring.

Is it boring?
It depends, if you like computers, then yes. If you don't like computer jobs, which require you to sit at a desk for 8 or maybe more hours, then no. This applies to all job choices. It is all a matter of preference. Just make sure you don't say no to every career out there.

Difference between Diploma and Degree?
The main difference is that most Diplomas are earned in college, but there are some universities now that give out Diplomas when graduating. A college diploma can take up to 2 years and a university degree can take up to 4 years. It can take more years in university, depending on what course you are taking.

College or University?
University focuses on more of the building blocks of programming and concepts within programming. University is way less hands on, but their is some Python. College on the other hand is way different. Most of college is hands on with programming. Other than the written tests and exam, you'll find yourself most of the time on the computer, developing a program. Again, it's all about preferences.

Closing
Well it's time for another closing. I would throw in an exclamation mark or two, but I can't risk losing the few views I have. I am still thinking about a good template for my PSP Games blog that I am making, so stay tuned. Thanks for reading.

The Question is Free Stuff?

Monday, November 2, 2009

I am sure most of internet users have heard of many sites that claim to give away "free" items, it used to be electronics, but now is a wide variety of categories. A quick Google search for "free stuff" will reveal nothing. Nothing but links to free product samples that may not actually even arrive at your front door. A deeper search on YouTube for "how to get free electronics" will reveal much, much more.

What Are These Sites Called?
There are many sites that may send you free items. To name a few of them; Rewards1, SwagBucks, SocialSearch, Lockerz, and tons more.

Are Those Sites Legit?
The truth is, there is only one way to tell if the site works. Yes, there are many proof videos all over the net and most are "unboxings" of the free gifts received. The only way to find out if a site is legit, is to try it out yourself. There are two things to take into account when taking a chance. 1) Does the website charge you money to sign up? 2) What is the overall feedback for that site by the majority of the users? The second note above is a bit unclear, because it is possible for a group of people to follow the same view, just because of another person.

What About Lockerz?
Yes, what about Lockerz? I am sure most users have seen a "msg me for lockerz invites" or "PM me for lockerz invites" or something closely related to that. For those who don't know what Lockerz is, I suggest searching it on YouTube. The point of posting those messages, comments, e-mails, is to find another user who isn't signed up on Lockerz and get them signed up, so the user who posted the message can earn points.

What's So Unique About Lockerz?
Lockerz is quite unique in many ways. The first being that the only way to sign up is to get invited by another user who signed up previously. This creates a chain of users and more and more people get involved. Not only does a new user get added to the already massive Lockerz' user database, the user who "invited" the other user earns four points or "PTZ". I'll explain PTZ later on. The other unique thing about Lockerz is that all you have to do to earn PTZ is answer daily questions, purely based on your opinions. There is no right or wrong answer and it isn't like a user gets rejected for a survey, just because they don't meet the requirements for that survey.

Sounds Like You Want More Invites!
Yes, it may seem like I am trying to get more invites through this way, but I don't really care for more invites. If you really need an invite and for some twisted reason prefer getting me to invite you to Lockerz, then send hamid.sheikh@hotmail.com. Anyways, there are more sites all over the web that have instant invite generator links. All you have to do is type in your e-mail address and a captcha code and, BAM!

Closing
This brings yet another closing to one of my posts. Hopefully, you noticed that I am trying a new way of posting that is more organized than my previous posting style. My old posting style disgusts me, due to its dirtiness. Thanks for reading!

Avatar The Movie?

Sunday, November 1, 2009

I am sure most people have heard of the upcoming movie, Avatar: The Last Airbender. Please keep in mind, when I say, "The Avatar movie", I mean the the movie with the bald kid who has air bending powers! The Avatar movie should be very appealing for fans of the Avatar universe. Maybe that's the wrong term, because other then the popular cartoon, that is now finished, there is nothing else related to Avatar that is of great success. The video games are very limited, they don't have any unique qualities to them, other than the fact that they are labeled "Avatar". Back to the movie, now. Let's see, we got Dev Patel as Zuko? I don't remember Zuko being middle-eastern at all. Well, you can't really tell what ethnicity the characters are, but still. Isn't Dev Patel a little too old to play an angry teenager, who has issues controlling his fire bending skills? Am I right? No? Alright then. Next character is Fire Lord Ozai. He is being played by Cliff Curtis. Since I don't know him at all, he better have SOME muscular attributes and a ponytail. Cliff Curtis looks Latino for some reason.

Hmmm... Now for the main character! Aang, the bald kid who is the Avatar, is played by Noah Ringer. This is where I am completely lost. Checking IMDB right now, shows that Noah Ringer has no picture of himself posted. I'm starting to think the cast goes from known to completely never-before-seen actors/actresses. Correct me if I'm wrong about Noah Ringer's popularity. Not looking very forward to it, but I will say one thing. The cartoon was excellent, the video games were bad, any live-action movie based off of a cartoon and video game will most likely be bad. This isn't always the case, but we'll see.
